Wakibi Daniel serves as the Country Director of ACRI in Uganda, driven by a belief that everyone should have access to basic resources for a successful life. With over a decade of experience, he has dedicated himself to working with vulnerable communities and refugee settlements. Previously, he was the Director of Programs at the Real Medicine Foundation, where he oversaw more than 500 staff, providing essential health, livelihood, and education services. Daniel also worked as a Program Manager at the Transformation and Restoration Initiative. He holds a Bachelor of Arts in Social Development from Makerere University and a Certificate in Administrative Law.
Kisubi Hannington has pursued his education in Uganda, earning a Cisco Certified Network Associate (CCNA) certificate and a Bachelor’s Degree in Social Sciences (BASS) from Makerere University. He further advanced his studies with a Postgraduate Diploma in Public Administration and Management (DPAM) from the Uganda Management Institute (UMI) and is currently pursuing a Master’s in Management Studies (MMS). With diverse experience in various roles, including Research Associate and Program Manager, he has developed expertise in program design and management. Passionate about humanity and community resilience, he believes empowered communities can sustain themselves and thrive amidst challenges.
As a Finance Officer, Carolyn Kisubi is a dedicated and results-driven professional with a deep commitment to serving vulnerable communities. She brings a wealth of experience to ACRI, having worked in various roles, including as a Grants Officer, where she successfully managed financial resources and contributed to impactful initiatives that have positively affected countless lives.
Carolyn holds a Bachelor of Arts in Economics and Management from Uganda Christian University (UCU) and is currently pursuing a Master’s in Economic Policy and Planning at Kampala International University (KIU).
Throughout her career, Carolyn has demonstrated a strong passion for service, particularly in challenging environments such as refugee settlements in Uganda. Her extensive experience in financial management, budgeting, and grants administration has enabled her to drive meaningful change in the sectors she’s worked in. Carolyn is deeply committed to ensuring that financial resources are used efficiently to support sustainable development and improve the lives of those in need.
She firmly believes that people are the heart of every organization and is passionate about creating an inclusive, collaborative, and supportive work environment. Carolyn’s approach combines technical expertise with a compassionate leadership style, making her a valued asset to any team.
Kanakutanda Henry Yosia joins ACRI with extensive experience in leadership and program management across various businesses and organizations. As a Program Director, Henry has successfully managed and supervised diverse programs at Necaph Business Consultant. His proven ability to drive operational efficiency, ensure compliance, and optimize program outcomes has made him a standout leader in his field.
Henry holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Arts, majoring in Administration, from Makerere University, providing him with a solid foundation in organizational governance, leadership, and administrative frameworks. In addition, he has earned a Diploma in Taxation from the esteemed East African School of Taxation, which has enhanced his expertise in fiscal policies, tax regulations, and financial management. Currently, Henry is furthering his legal knowledge by pursuing a Diploma in Law at the Law Development Centre (LDC), underscoring his commitment to building a well-rounded, multidisciplinary skill set.
Henry’s strategic insight, combined with his comprehensive understanding of administrative and managerial processes, makes him an invaluable asset to any organization. His role also extends beyond program management, as he collaborates closely with the Country Director in the fundraising department to ensure that ACRI’s programs are adequately supported and effectively implemented.
